About Velma
Velma is the last little gem from our “mystery litter,”. We call them the mystery litter as we were asked to help some puppies and knew nothing about their breed, just that they were about 8 weeks old. When we met them, they all 3 looked completely different. At around 11 weeks old, this freckle faced cutie is equal parts shy sweetheart and playful puppy, just waiting for the right person to help her shine. Velma may be the more reserved one of the bunch, but once she’s comfortable, her playful side comes out in full force. She loves chasing her foster brother Gavin around the yard and discovering all the fun that puppyhood has to offer. And when she’s really excited? That adorable little stubby tail starts wagging, and it’s honestly impossible not to smile. She’s a quiet, gentle soul who takes in the world at her own pace. Velma would do best with a patient family who will work with her on safe socialization and positive reinforcement training. Velma is already crate trained and doing great with her house training. She is a smart little cookie who just needs consistency to keep learning. And her ears? Well, they’re still deciding their future… some days up, some days down, always 100% adorable. Velma is current on age appropriate vaccines. She is also current on prevention and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350 and she will be adopted on a spay contract to give her body time to grow. To meet Velma, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet. Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
