About Benny
Benny is a medium-sized mixed-breed dog with a whole lot of energy and an even bigger heart. True to his young age as a springtime Taurus (born around late April 2023), he carries a bit of that Taurus loyalty and warmth. Benny is both hyper and cuddly—he's happiest curling up as a lap dog after burning off some steam. He'd fit best in an active household that enjoys daily outdoor time and interactive play. Apartment life won't be for him, and he’ll need a securely fenced yard to keep him safe while he zips around. Benny is not a fit for homes with small animals, so he’ll need to be the only non-dog pet. With solid house training in place, he’s ready for a home that can match his energy and give him structure—think toys, routines, lots of affection, and patience as he transitions out of the shelter environment. Benny does not get along with cats, so he’ll need a feline-free home. If you have space, energy, and the desire for a sweet, affectionate companion, Benny might just be who you’re looking for. Questions about Benny
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Benny is a mixed-breed dog who thrives in an active home with a yard. He does best in spaces where he has room to run and play, so a suburban or rural environment would suit him far better than a small apartment.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Benny's medium-high energy means he needs frequent access to a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and exercise. Regular walks and playtime will help him burn off his energy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Mixed-breed dogs like Benny are often good family companions, especially for active households. As long as the home does not have small animals and matches his energy, Benny can adjust well.
