Hi everybody, I'm Lucy! I'm a high-energy, playful girl that loves people, toys (especially my spiky rubber ball), and my blankie! I love working my brain with different kinds of mental enrichment, so not to brag, but I think that makes me pretty smart! While I can be pretty excitable, I can calm myself down after a bit and love to lay at my people's feet. My favorite place for pets is behind my ears. I can be a little mouthy, but learned the command gentle when I need to be softer when taking things like treats. Speaking of treats, I have some food allergies so I can't eat all the things I'd like to, especially people food! I have a lot of love for other dogs, though I can come off pretty strong and need a little help learning other pups cues. I haven't had a chance to meet any cats before, so slow introductions will be very important for any friends I meet! I'm used to walking with a harness, though I still can pull pretty hard, so I'd do best with someone that can help me with my leash skills, recalling, and general manners. I am housebroken, though like all shelter pups, I may need a refresher of how things work in your home! I'd do best with an experienced family that can give me consistant guidance and lots and lots of love!
