About Snocone
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Snocone is a sweet, medium-sized beagle/hound mix with a short, red and cream coat who was returned to rescue due to family changes after spending over a year in a loving home. Originally overlooked because of her nervous and timid nature, Snocone has shown that with patience and reassurance, she can truly blossom. Her playful spirit shines when she's with other dogs, and she thrives in a home where there's a confident canine companion to show her the way. Snocone needs a patient and very loving family willing to support her as she gains confidence and enjoys being a dog. For her continued progress, she requires another friendly dog in the home and a secure, fenced yard. Due to her current nervousness, she would do best in a home without small children during her adjustment period. Snocone is decompressing well in her foster home and continues to learn how wonderful life can be. She will need a family dedicated to showing her that humans are safe and the world is a fun place to explore. She's not yet fully house trained, so ongoing support with that will help her flourish. Only homes with a secure means of outdoor containment (not invisible fencing) will be considered to ensure her safety. Adoption out-of-state is possible if you can travel to Omaha for a meet-and-greet, as the rescue does not provide transport. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
