Beetle came to HUA as a ten-year-old stray dog. What a sad state of affairs for such a lovely senior lady. Beetle is happy here at HUA, though. She loudly and proudly sings the songs of her people to make sure her caregivers and volunteers know that she is up for some fun. Like most beagles, Beetle is very food motivated, which makes training a breeze. Even though she’s a bit older, she’s been showing us that learning new things is always possible. She’s picking up basic obedience skills and having a blast participating in our Kids United for Animals program where she has become a fan favorite. Beetle positively basks in attention from the humans and adores long, peaceful walks on her leash. She is a mild-mannered, joyful little girl who will bring many blessings to her new family.
