Jetra is a unique Liver Sable Shepherd who is estimated around 4 years of age by the shelter. Jetra was a stray, so we do not know her history, but her fly bitten ears and signs of nursing pups tell a story on their own. Jetra is an exceptionally sweet girl who has done great with everyone she has met. She seems to be figuring herself out and is happy to soak up any morsel of affection she is offered. She is the sort to quickly velcro herself to her human of the day and never wants to be too far from them. Jetra has done great with kids 10 years and up but has not met any younger children to our knowledge. Other than being a licking hazard, we have no reason to think she'd do poorly with younger kids. Jetra is figuring the other dogs out slowly but surely. She does well with them but in an almost avoidant way, like she doesn't know how to play and just wants to coexist quietly. She also hasn't figured out toys, so overall, it seems like play is something she hasn't had much experience with sadly. Jetra is looking for a home that will give her the TLC she needs and guide her into embracing all the joys of being a beloved family pet.
