About Delta
Delta is a striking half-German Shepherd, half-Pit Bull Terrier with a sleek solid black coat. About 60 lbs and house trained, she does best as the only dog at home—cats are off the table too. In public she's polite and nonreactive on leash, as long as other dogs keep a respectful distance. Delta’s really in her element when she’s with her person, soaking up attention or tagging along on adventures. She’s a graduate of a structured training program, so she’s nailed her basic commands and handles leash walks and car rides with ease. Delta’s playful side comes out in the water or when a ball’s flying through the air—she loves a good game of fetch. Indoors she’ll gravitate to the couch after a long day. She’s reliable in a crate and motivated by food, making her sharp and easy to train for just about anything. Delta is comfortable at events, whether it’s a city gathering or a rural fair, and copes well with new places and crowds. She’s best suited to a home with older, respectful kids.
