Houdini was abandoned after his owner passed away. He was used to being an indoor/outdoor cat and was discovered by the landlord who took care of him daily until he as able to come to our shelter. Houdini is reserved in his new surrounding and has spent several days in his favorit kitty condo that stayed on his front porch at his previous home. It is is his safe space, but he is staring to venture out more as time goes by. We hope to keep him happy and comfortable until we can find him a nice calm home as that is the lifestyle he was used to. Houdini is 12 years old and change is even harder when you are a senior. We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only. The adoption fee is $85 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
