Meet Jedd! Jedd is a young, playful pup with a huge heart and an even bigger love for life. This handsome Black Labrador Retriever mix is full of personality, from his goofy antics to his sweet, affectionate nature. He has a curious, joyful spirit and a way of making everyone around him smile. Jedd absolutely loves to play and gets along great with other dogs. He’s athletic and enjoys running around the yard, chasing toys, and playing with his foster siblings. One of his cutest quirks is using his paws like hands, and he’s known for jumping up to give hugs, so he would do best in a home with older children who can handle his enthusiasm. With additional basic command training he could also do well with younger children- he just gets very excited about giving hugs! After playtime, Jedd is just as happy to relax on the couch and soak up time with his people. He has the softest black coat and a loyal, loving personality that truly shines once you get to know him. Jedd has been in foster care for nearly two years and has grown so much since arriving as a puppy. He was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and has been patiently waiting for the forever home he deserves since he was just six months old. He is house trained, crate trained, and has great routines. He always eats his meals, may be a little picky with treats, but makes up for it with his love of toys and playtime. We believe Jedd would do best in a home without cats. Jedd is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. He is currently in foster care and available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter.
