Neutered Male 1 Year 13 Pounds $40 Meet Norris, a 1-year-old black Domestic Shorthair with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Found as a stray, his past is a bit of a mystery, but he’s proven to be an incredibly social and affectionate boy who’s ready to leave his rough start behind and settle into a loving home. He arrived with a facial wound that is healing nicely, and he’s been nothing but sweet through it all. Norris absolutely loves attention and will happily soak up all the affection you can give. He enjoys being held, often tucking his head right under your chin for extra snuggles. This playful and curious guy also loves to roll over and show off his belly, inviting pets and cuddles whenever he can. He’s using his litter box well and is eager to bond with his people. With a proper, slow introduction, Norris may do well with other cats or even dogs. If you’re looking for a cuddly, loving companion who will stick close and shower you with affection, Norris might just be your perfect match. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost. No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
