Thisbe came to rescue as a tiny, gray tabby kitten alongside his brother Hermey. While Hermey adjusts quickly to new situations, Thisbe prefers a more relaxed pace. He exudes calm and gentleness, settling in best with a predictable routine and a peaceful household. Early on, stress took a toll on his health, leading to a urinary blockage and surgery at just 14 weeks. He has since thrived on his prescribed Hill’s Science Diet C/D Stress food, and as long as he stays on this urinary diet, he stays healthy and happy. Thisbe enjoys gentle affection and the company of other mellow cats or kittens. He’s also fine with calm dogs and older children who respect his need for softness and calm. If you forget breakfast, he’ll let you know—it’s his favorite part of the day. Otherwise, he quietly makes himself at home, only asking for kindness and a steady diet to keep him thriving.
