About Loki
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Loki is an adventurous 9-month-old (about 40 lbs), fully vetted, neutered, and vaccinated pup who captures hearts everywhere he goes. With his short coat and medium size, Loki embodies the ultimate snuggle buddy—sweet, silly, playful, loving, and always happy-go-lucky. He is house trained and crate trained (though he’ll give you a little protest at first), but settles quickly. His foster notes that Loki is very smart, loving training sessions, and already responds to commands like sit and lay down, with 'wait/stay' still in progress. Loki is learning to walk on leash—shorter leashes work best for now—and is not prone to excessive barking or showing prey drive. He's not one to dash out the door; his focus is always on human or canine companionship. Well-socialized with other dogs (especially females) and able to read corrections from both people and pups, Loki needs daily exercise and play to burn off his youthful energy. He does best when given clear routines, and absolutely thrives when rewarded for calm behavior. A fenced yard is required and, given his exuberance, a home with children over 12 is recommended. Loki is currently in foster care with DREAM pet rescue in Miami County, OH, and adoptions are generally within 120 miles. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
