Presley is an almost 2-year-old black tri Australian Shepherd, weighing in at a petite 38 lbs. She has a very shy, sensitive nature and is still trying to figure out her place in the world. You can see that she wants to please—she’s just not quite sure how yet. She often watches the other dogs closely, even following their lead to try and understand how to get attention from her people. It’s both endearing and a little heartbreaking—she’s clearly trying, she just hasn’t had the guidance to know what to do. Presley is wonderful with other dogs and truly benefits from their presence. While she doesn’t quite know how to play yet, she’s very interested and curious, which is a great sign that she’ll learn with time and encouragement. She’s looking for a patient, loving home with lots of time, consistency, and encouragement to help her build confidence and learn how to just be a dog.
