Maisie makes an impression from the moment you spot her: a striking tortoiseshell coat with those signature marbled patterns, and a personality to match. She fended for herself as a stray before coming into care, so she’s still adjusting to indoor life, learning every day that comfort and love are possible. Maisie had a minor inflammation in her right eye after rescue—likely from a scrape or allergy—but she’s since recovered nicely and doesn’t require ongoing care. True to her tortie nature, Maisie brings a bit of a spicy attitude—never dull, always interesting. She now shares a space with some of the more reserved cats, and she coexists well with others.
