Benji is a sweet, affectionate boy who is ready to find a loving home of his own. Rescued from a local shelter after being found as a stray, Benji has quickly shown what a wonderful companion he can be. His foster says he loves meeting new people and does great with both children and adults. He also gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. Benji would do best in a home without cats, and he could use a little help with leash manners since he sometimes barks at other animals when out walking. At home, though, he has great manners and does not need to be crated. He loves belly rubs, enjoys playing with toys, and is happiest curled up beside you on the couch or bed soaking up affection. Rolling in the grass is another one of his favorite pastimes! He is house-trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. His teeth have been cleaned too! As of March 2026, he is 8 years old and 11 lbs.
