Meet Pippy ! Pippy is a 4-month-old deaf Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. This little girl truly adores everything and everyone she meets, and her joyful, affectionate personality makes her impossible not to fall for. Right now, Pippy's whole world revolves around her foster sister, Waverlie. The two are inseparable-constantly playing, learning, and growing together. Waverlie has been an incredible role model, helping Pippy build confidence and showing her how to navigate the world. Because of this, Pippy will need another young, playful dog in her forever home to continue thriving. Pippy is looking for a committed, experienced adopter who understands the unique needs of a deaf puppy and is willing to invest the time and patience into her training. She's currently working on potty training, walks nicely on a leash, and is eager to learn-but she'll need guidance, consistency, and lots of love to reach her full potential. One important note: Pippy does not do well in a crate or being alone and will need a home that can accommodate that. Pippy has had a rough start and was unfortunately returned twice while in the shelter. Because of this, we are determined to find her the perfect, lifelong match-we will not settle for anything less than a home fully prepared to give her the stability and dedication she deserves. A home willing to adopt both Pippy and Waverlie together will be given strong preference, as their bond is truly special.
