About Moose

Make their next chapter their best one yet. If you’re looking for a sweet companion, MooMoo can be that pal. This special boy loves being close to his person and doesn’t let his disability slow him down. After injuring his back jumping off a sofa in 2022, he wasn't treated at the time, but has recently seen a neurologist who confirmed he's not in pain. MooMoo is what’s called a “reflex walker”—his hind legs work differently from his front, but he’s adapted well. He can handle a few steps but not a full flight, and although he doesn’t have complete bladder or bowel control, he manages with daily medication and has good mobility. Water therapy may also benefit him. MooMoo enjoys car rides, spending time in the backyard, and simply being near his person. He will thrive in a quiet, adult-only home, ideally with someone who works from home or is retired, ready to provide the attention and special care he needs. In return, he offers endless love and puppy kisses. Start your journey together! Apply now.

Questions about Moose

Chihuahuas are typically best suited for indoor living, often thriving in apartments or homes with limited space. They enjoy being near their family and are well-adapted to environments where they are part of daily life.

Chihuahuas do not require a large yard; regular short walks and some playtime outdoors are usually enough to keep them happy and healthy.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

While Chihuahuas can live with children, they are best with older, respectful kids who understand how to gently handle small dogs, as their tiny size makes them prone to injury.
