About Kya
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Kya (formerly Lily)! Kya began her journey with a group of dogs seeking new beginnings, and while she previously settled into a loving home, her adopter recognized that a change was needed to truly meet Kya’s needs. She is a gentle, smaller medium-sized girl who thrives on connection and truly flourishes when someone is around most of the day to provide a calm presence. In just a short time, Kya warms up to new people, quickly showing her playful side and signature zoomies! She gets along best with dogs of a similar size who enjoy playtime, and she’s hoping for a home with one or two confident, friendly canine companions who can boost her confidence and show her the ropes. Kya learns wonderfully by example, and she takes great comfort in the company of other dogs. Her ideal home would offer patience, reassurance, and plenty of love as she finds her confidence. While Kya isn’t a “plug and play” pup, she promises lasting loyalty and an inspiring journey as she grows into her best self with the dedication of her people. With the right nurturing environment, you’ll be rewarded by watching a sensitive girl blossom into a loving companion. Fun fact: Kya was born on June 4, making her a curious and sociable Gemini—she’s sure to keep life interesting! If you’re ready to help Kya continue her path and give her the secure, devoted home she deserves, she could be the perfect fit for your family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
