Simba von Schleiz is a stunning 14 month old long haired German Shepherd. Simba is a sweet and gentle bigger boy who charms everyone he meets. He's such a love, affectionate and cuddly, and looks so enchanting that he almost doesn't seem real! There's just one thing which we are working on with Simba. It stems from a past where he didn't have enough to eat: he guards food. Therefore, he needs an adult home with people who can continue to address this. Otherwise, he is such a great boy, with a medium level energy. Smart, mostly housebroken, crate-trained, and knows the commands "Sit," "Down" and Leave it." On leash, Simba is a dream, walking calmly in a heel position and greeting passersby and other dogs with a happy tail wag. He even wants to kiss some dogs (he was originally found with a female). Off-leash, he's got great dog manners, meeting other dogs nicely and engaging in some play but he's not pushy about it.
