Hi... I'm Gouda. I might not be the boldest kitten in the room, but I have a very gentle heart and I'm trying my best every day 💛 Like my brothers, I was found under a bush on the UNC campus. It was a scary start, and while they've turned into total social butterflies, I'm still a quite shy and figuring things out at my own pace. The good news? I want to love people. I really do. I like being near you, and with patience, I keep getting braver. I'm never mean--just a sensitive little guy who needs a calm, understanding home to help me feel safe. Once I trust you, you'll see my sweet, quiet personality shine. Now, let's talk motivation: Churu treats. Yes, I can absolutely be won over with them 😄 They're the way to my heart. I also come out of my shell during playtime--wave a fishing pole toy and suddenly I'm showing off my impressive jumping skills! I've done okay with an older kid and a small dog, but I'd do best in a quieter home without a lot of noise or chaos. I'm not the right fit for very young kids--but for someone patient and kind, I could be an incredibly rewarding companion.
