About MakoFS
Meet Mako, an 11-year-old Domestic Short Hair who weighs in at 16 lbs of pure love and affection. After a challenging period following the transition from his lifelong home, Mako has undergone a remarkable transformation. With the help of our dedicated vets, he had four painful teeth removed, and now he's pain-free and full of life. Mako is known as the ultimate snuggle buddy. Once he warms up to you, he’ll seek your company for cuddles and companionship. You’ll delight in his deep, rumbling purr that vibrates through his body while being petted. He loves all forms of affection, from regular petting to belly rubs and chin scratches. Despite being a gentle giant, Mako’s playful side shines through—he loves chasing soft balls and engaging in light play. He prefers a calm, loving home where he can settle in comfortably. While he’s okay with supervised interactions with gentle, older children, he would thrive best in a serene environment. Mako has lived peacefully with other cats and would adapt well to a quiet resident cat or dog. At his heart, Mako embodies gratitude and joy for his second chance. He’s fully vetted, healthy, and ready to bring warmth and purrs to your home. Could you be the family he’s been waiting for? Click apply to start the adoption process.
