Dog's Name: Ronan (RON0326OWSMN) Estimated Breed: Redbone Coonhound / Ridgeback mix Approximate Age: 5-6 years Approximate Weight: 50 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Say Hi to Ronan – loyal running buddy and couch companion! Ronan is a strikingly handsome Redbone Coonhound/Ridgeback mix with a heart just as big as his energy. Due to a change in his owner's circumstances, this wonderful boy is searching for a new forever home where he can continue to thrive. If you're someone who enjoys staying active, Ronan might just be your perfect match. He loves going for runs and exploring the world by your side. Once he's had his exercise, he will happily curl up next to you for some well-earned relaxation and companionship. Ronan is completely housebroken and has great manners in the home. He also rides beautifully in the car, making him an ideal partner for adventures both near and far. This devoted boy takes his role as protector seriously and he's watchful over his home and the children in it. While he may bark to alert you of strangers, he does not bite—he just wants to make sure his family is safe. Ronan gets along well with other dogs, though he may truly shine as the only dog in the home. Ronan is ready to give his whole heart to someone special. In return, he's hoping for a home that will cherish his loyalty, embrace his energy, and offer him the stability he deserves. Apply today and meet this handsome hunk in person! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
