I'm Chip, an 80-pound Great Dane mix with a giant body and an even bigger goofy personality! I'm basically a big puppy who hasn't quite figured out personal space or polite manners yet - I just get so excited to be around people that I forget how large I am. I love to play and can be pretty mouthy and vocal when I'm having fun, and when my excitement kicks in, I might even try to "box" you with my paws. I'm a total derp: clumsy, silly, and easily distracted, always bouncing from one interesting thing to the next. Because of my size, energy, and enthusiasm, I'd probably do best in a home without small children who could get accidentally knocked over during my happy zoomies. I'm a very social and friendly guy who enjoys meeting new people, though I can be a little cautious at first while I figure things out. I'm curious about everything and love exploring, adventures, and having space to move around - I definitely need a busy home with plenty of room and I'm not suited for apartment living. I'm athletic enough that a 4-foot fence wouldn't be much of a challenge if something exciting caught my attention, so I'll need a secure setup and supervision. After I've had time to explore and burn off some energy, I'm more than happy to flop down and relax with my people.
