Meet Spanky! Spanky is an 8 month old, Neutered Male, Labrador/Terrier mix. Spanky is an adorable chocolate boy who is looking for a family ready for a nice walk and a cuddle. Although he's a medium sized dog, he thinks he's a lap dog! He loves a leisurely walk and time with his people. Spanky has done well with other dogs but we recommend a meet and greet with potential canine siblings before adoption. He has tested well with cats and seems to respect their boundaries. He should also do well with kids as long as they are ready to play and cuddle! The more positive experiences a puppy has now, the more likely they will grow into a happy, well adjusted adult dog. If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. We cannot place animals on hold to come pick up for another day.
