At about 4 years old and 12 pounds, this Papillon mix is a wide-eyed wonder with a fluffy coat and a smile that could sell out a farmer’s market. Granola came into rescue with the Breakfast Club, which explains his sunny disposition and strong belief that mornings (and honestly, all times) are better with snacks. Granola is a sweet little fluff who absolutely loves other dogs. He’s the kind of guy who thrives in good company, happily joining in on group hangs and socializing like it’s his full-time job. Humans? Also great — especially the ones who come bearing treats. If you’ve got snacks, you’ve got his attention. If you are the snacks, even better (kidding… mostly). He warms up quickly, especially when bribery is involved, and once he’s comfortable, that big smile really takes center stage. It’s the kind of grin that says, “I’m happy to be here and I would also like another treat, please.” Honestly, same. Granola is currently learning the fine art of leash walking. Right now, it’s less “seasoned pro” and more “enthusiastic participant,” but he’s catching on. With a little guidance and consistency, he’ll be strutting his stuff like he’s been doing it forever. Everyone starts somewhere — Granola just happens to start with charm. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. His 4DX test is negative for heartworm and tick-borne disease, because even breakfast icons believe in staying healthy.
