This girl has a true working-dog brain and absolutely loves to learn. Whether she’s picking up new tricks, exploring the world, or sticking right by your side on adventures, Maeve’s happiest when she’s making her person proud. After a day full of leprechaun shenanigans, zoomies, and learning, Maeve turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. She’ll happily trade her leprechaun games for snuggles, curling up in your lap for movie night and snoozing right beside you all night like the little pot-o-gold she is. Maeve is still working on her potty training, but don’t worry, this smart little lass already knows how to use a doggie door and is well on her way. With a little consistency and structure, she’ll have it mastered faster than you can say “top o’ the mornin’!” Now, about her crate… Maeve can do it, but she does like to sing you a short(ish) Irish ballad about her feelings at first. It’s her adorable (and slightly dramatic) way of saying she’d rather be with her people. Thankfully, her performances don’t last long, and she settles in just fine. Maeve loves other dogs and would be over the rainbow in a home with another playful dog. She does well with tolerant cats and would love some older, dog-savvy kiddos (8+) to grow up with. Her favorite pastimes include wrestling with her foster siblings, playing with toys, romping outside, and, of course, soaking up all the snuggles she can get.
