About Bella
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Bella is thrilled to greet everyone she meets and can’t wait to find her forever home. This six-year-old, large German shepherd and Labrador retriever mix girl weighs over eighty pounds and is looking for a safe and loving place after a difficult start. She absolutely loves the water, adores car rides, and is all about spending time with her favorite people. House trained and polite, Bella knows her basic manners and is always eager for cuddles. She can be playful with other dogs, especially males, but would do best as the only dog or with a calm male canine companion. Bella has a special fondness for little treasures like treats and tissues, so she does resource guard these items. She and her trainer are making excellent progress, and her trainer can continue to support both adopter and Bella to set everyone up for success. Because of this, she’s not suited for a home with small children. Bella enjoys walks and playing with toys, but as a big girl her endurance is on the lower side—she’s curious and loves exploring but prefers to stay close to those she cares about. She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations including canine influenza and preventative care. She’s ready to become someone’s loyal and devoted companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
