Hicks (1.6 years old) Hicks is a sweet gray cat with green eyes. He has been very shy at the shelter and is just coming out of his shell. Quick movements and loud noises still make him uncertain, so a household that is calm and comforting would be best for this affectionate youngster. He will respond quickly to gentle pettings on the side of his head and neck. If he feels comfortable, he will roll onto his side and purr. Hicks loves soft beds and cat caves, too. If you have a low-key and quieter home, you will no doubt be able to encourage Hicks to become the more confident cat he is meant to be.
