About Oscar & Hugo

Oscar and Hugo are a tightly bonded pair of orange tabby and white male cats seeking an indoor home together. Oscar is the long-haired, majestic one—about a year old come April 2025—with a lush plume tail and a gentle, somewhat shy nature. Once he feels secure, he enjoys quiet time and affectionate petting. Hugo, younger at about 6 to 8 months, balances Oscar perfectly: he's playful, outgoing, and happy to cuddle up. The two share a quirky streak and will keep their adopter entertained with their silly antics and distinctive personalities. Both were rescued from an uncertain future in Otter Tail County, MN, after losing their safe outdoor home. Now, they're safe, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. They’ve tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and both use the litter box reliably. Oscar and Hugo absolutely must be adopted together—Hugo’s confidence helps Oscar settle in, and they look to each other for comfort. They’ll thrive best with an adopter experienced with cats, who’s willing to give them patience and space as they adjust. Adoption fee for the pair is partially sponsored. Oscar and Hugo are currently in the Detroit Lakes, MN area, but transport can be arranged within an hour’s radius, including Fargo-Moorhead. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
