Meet Gruner! This handsome boy lives for a good game of fetch and will happily chase the ball as long as you’re willing to throw it. When playtime is over, he’s ready to clock in for his other favorite job... being the neighborhood watch unofficial “block captain” Whether it’s keeping an eye on passing squirrels or alerting you to Amazon deliveries, Gruner takes his duties very seriously. He’s also incredibly treat-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a lot of fun. Gruner listens well, picks up on routines quickly, and loves making his person proud. Gruner would love a home where he can stretch his legs, play fetch, and then settle in knowing his people are safe and sound. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Gruner is your guy! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
