About Max

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Max! This handsome gentleman here is hoping to be the newest addition to your family! Max isn't the biggest fan of sharing and can be a bit protective over high value items such as his food. Kennel staff would be happy to go over this behavior and provide more tips and recommendations to help his resource guarding. Due to these reasons, he will require any children in the home to be at least 12 or older along with having to meet any other dogs in the home prior to adoption. Please remember to do any introductions with either people or animals slowly! Additionally, Max is not recommended for any first time dog owners and would benefit from an adopter with herding breed experience, though that is not a requirement. Lastly, Max did recently return from a foster home and we were happy to find out he loves long walks, cuddling (he will seek you out for more cuddles), and being a couch potato next to his new best friends! If you have any questions about this handsome man or would like to visit, please speak with our kennel staff and they will be happy to assist! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
