Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Bold, CHATTY, sweet and sassy, small cat with a big personality, affectionate, energetic -Can Live with Cats: No thanks. Tekka WILL fight with other cats. She will need to be the only feline in the home for the duration of her life. -Can Live with Dogs: No thanks. Tekka is scared of dogs and does not want to live with them. -Can Live with Kids: No, Tekka will need an adult-only home. -Needs Indoor Only Home: No, Tekka was indoor/outdoor in her previous home and would likely enjoy some responsible outdoor time in her new home. -History of Litter Box Issues: No -Energy Level: High! -Bite History: Yes, ask staff for more details. -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No, she's all ready to go! Additional Information: Tekka is a special cat looking for a specific type of home. She's a sweet kitty at heart, but adjusting to life in the shelter has not been easy for her. Tekka is an active and adventurous girly who does not do well being cooped up - she needs more space to roam, and we don't blame her. Tekka's perfect home is one where she has lots of room to run around (i.e., NOT a studio apartment) and maybe has access to a fenced-in yard where she can enjoy some responsible outdoor time. As previously mentioned, Tekka is a bold (and sometimes sassy) cat who will let you know how she's feeling. She will need to be adopted by a CAT-EXPERIENCED person who is able to read her body language and respect her boundaries. If you respect her boundaries and let her come to you, she is actually a VERY affectionate kitty. Tekka is by no means a couch potato - she is an energetic girl who will need plenty of playtime and mental stimulation to keep her occupied. We recommend stocking up on lots of interactive toys, cat trees, and scratching posts before taking Tekka home.
