About Tink
Start your journey together! Apply now. Tink is a magnificent longhaired black gentleman with a heart as soft as his luxurious coat! This handsome senior boy is considered special needs, as he is FIV positive—a condition that affects a cat’s immune system but is usually only transmitted through bite wounds, so FIV+ cats can often live safely with others in stable, friendly homes. He is also a heart patient, and potential adopters can discuss his specific medical needs in detail with the Adoption Coordinator. Despite these health considerations, Tink is truly thriving in his current cat room. He is a gentle and affectionate soul, genuinely enjoying human attention and companionship. He has adjusted seamlessly to his surroundings and gets along effortlessly with his feline roommates. Tink explores his space with quiet confidence, always showing calm, social, and positive behavior. His sweet nature makes him a very endearing companion. While Tink does require attentive veterinary care and someone who can keep a close eye on his health, he gives back in abundance with his deep, relaxing purr—a sound that brings a sense of warmth and peace to any room. With his loving presence and gentle ways, Tink is ready to share his special heart with someone equally special who can provide the care he deserves. As a Capricorn, Tink’s practical and loyal nature shines through in all he does. Please note, adopters must live within 150 miles of Cincinnati and be able to visit the shelter in person for interviews and a second visit; this loving companion cannot be shipped but is worth every minute of your time. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
