About Luke
Luke is a striking young Lab/Husky mix with a snowy white coat and an easygoing, affectionate style. He’s a true gentle giant—at 80 lbs—with a heart just as big. Luke stands out for his soulful eyes, love of cuddling, and friendly nature toward both dogs and cats, making him an easy fit for many households. He mixes playfulness and calm, showing a knack for learning and a strong desire to please. Luke already knows his basics and loves a gentle correction and some praise. He can be careful around new people, but with a little patience, his goofy side shines through. A fenced-in yard is at the top of Luke’s wish list—he wants space to run, stretch, and just be a dog off-leash. After a romp, he’s happy flopped at your feet or curled up beside you. He’d do great as a one-and-only or with a calm canine friend, and he’s reliably house trained. Luke listens well, seeks stability, and would thrive in an active but predictable home environment. He’s the type who embraces adventure but treasures downtime just as much. Luke is currently fostered in MD and will be transported to his forever home. For homes with children, he’s recommended for those 10 and up. If you want a companion who’s as loyal as he is handsome, take a closer look at Luke. Click apply to start the adoption process.
