Yogi Bear is loyal, easygoing, and devoted. She’s a 5-year-old Lab/Shar-Pei mix, around 63 pounds, with a soft chestnut coat and a smiling, slightly wrinkled face. Her calm nature and steady presence make her deeply bonded to her people — she just wants to be by your side, part of your everyday life. She’s fully house trained, crate trained, and walks politely on leash. Adaptable to both houses and apartments, Yogi thrives on routine and is content with daily walks and some playtime but doesn’t demand constant activity. She’s friendly and affectionate with time to get to know someone, and once settled, quickly becomes part of the family. Yogi gets along with calmer, easygoing dogs but isn’t a fit for busy group settings. She’s fine with cats and would do well as an only dog. Older, respectful children suit her best, and she needs someone who appreciates a dog that bonds deeply and wants to be included in your world. Currently, Yogi is being treated for heartworm and needs an adopter willing to continue her care. She’s otherwise healthy and ready for a stable, loving home.
