Orchid is ready to leave boarding behind and finally experience life in a home. One of a group of six dogs the rescue worked very hard to secure, Orchid has come a long way and is now ready for a foster-to-adopt home where she can continue to grow. At around a year old, she is still very much a pup, with a gentle spirit and so much potential. Orchid can be a little shy at first and may take a moment to warm up to new people and environments. But once she feels safe, her true personality begins to shine through — soft, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. She has a calm, tender way about her that makes her easy to fall in love with. She is already doing beautifully on leash and walks straight alongside you with impressive focus. Orchid is also dog friendly and does well with children, though she would likely be happiest in a home with older, calm kids who can respect her need for a gentle approach as she builds confidence. Loud or chaotic environments can feel overwhelming for her right now, so a quieter home will help her continue to come out of her shell and feel secure. With patience, consistency, and a safe place to land, Orchid will continue to blossom into an incredibly loving companion. Orchid is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and she is ready for someone willing to give her the time and love she deserves. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
