About Rosco
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Rosco, a five-year-old beagle who weighs in at 16 pounds and is an embodiment of pure loyalty. This sweet and affectionate little guy loves nothing more than curling up for a good snuggle and being by your side—he’s truly a “shadow dog” who finds his greatest comfort in the company of his favorite person. Rosco thrives in a calm, patient home and relishes his daily walks, though his excitement sometimes results in a bit of enthusiastic pulling. He is crate trained and feels most secure when he can stay in the same room as his humans. Rosco is making great progress with house training, especially when you maintain a steady routine, and he’s familiar with both the leash and using a dog door. A secure fenced yard would make an ideal bonus for this little explorer. Due to some resource guarding tendencies, Rosco does best when fed separately and may be happiest as the only dog in the home. His foster family observes that he blossoms with consistent structure, love, and reassurance. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side and fill your home with warmth, Rosco may be the perfect fit. He may be located in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Michigan—reach out to meet this devoted little friend! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
