About Goldie

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Goldie is full of personality, affection, and irresistibly playful charm. She’s a medium-sized Beagle mix (with a little Boxer flair), around 2 to 3 years old, and weighs about 35 pounds. Goldie thrives on being close to her people, soaking up attention, chin scratches, and cuddling up for cozy nights. She is crate trained and housetrained, and even enjoys curling up in her crate for some quiet relaxation. Goldie’s energy is just right—medium, with plenty of playfulness and a few mischievous moments. She knows some basic commands such as “come,” “sit,” and “leave it.” When left alone, she may whine or bark initially, but quickly settles in on her own. Those seeking companionship will love her snuggly nature and loyal personality. Although she adores people, Goldie would do best in a home with adults or older teens, given her exuberance and the need for someone attentive to her training and safe boundaries. Because she can be rough with other dogs and loves to be the center of attention, Goldie is best suited as a solo pet or with a highly compatible dog friend. She is skilled at testing fences and can try to escape, so her new home should have a very secure yard with vigilant supervision. She’s good in the car, enjoys outdoor time, and is ready to bring joy and a spark of fun to her next family. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion who brings both charm and mischief, Goldie is ready to brighten your home. Note: Goldie may be located in any of six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
