Hi! My name is Roo! I'm 8 years old and weigh 49 pounds. I had a loving home for the past 5 years, but my owner had to enter a nursing home. Now I'm back at HSWC hoping to find another person who can pick up the torch, love me, and give me a new forever home! Do you love taking walks? I'm a great partner for that! I'm easy to walk on a leash. I'm the type of dog who likes to do his own thing and will let you know when I want attention. I am crate trained, however there was never a need to crate me in my former home. I was able to be left at home, loose in the house, and didn't have any accidents or cause any destruction. I'm not a chewer! I successfully lived with other dogs in my previous home, so bring yours in to meet me! I've also been reported to be friendly towards cats, so I may do well living with them with slow, proper introductions. As for the humans in my home, I'd prefer teens and adults who will give me my space. I'm pretty easy-going and have a lot of good behaviors already (a benefit to adopting an older dog for sure!).
