About Patton

Patton landed at the shelter after staff found him abandoned in the play yard one morning in May 2023. Since then, he’s worked with the team on building confidence and improving his manners. He’ll thrive in a patient, structured home where he can keep learning and feel secure. Patton is anxious behind barriers and may act out in the kennel, but give him a little time and he’ll show his affectionate side. Once he knows you, he is all snuggles, kisses, and belly rubs. Tough toys and treat-filled kongs keep him busy when it’s time to settle. He walks well on leash and rides calmly in the car, but needs ongoing training to remember that he gets more attention with all four paws on the ground. Patton must be the only animal in the home, and he’s best suited for adults or families with older children. If you’re looking for a loyal, love-soaked companion who just wants to be your whole world, Patton’s ready to meet you. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
