About Walter

He’s reliably friendly, welcomes attention, and after a recent vet check, shows no major health issues outside of what’s being managed. Walter has a low-maintenance temperament—he’s been fully vetted, will be neutered before going home, and easily adapts to new routines. This 55-pound retriever mix is estimated around eight years old but still has plenty of spring in his step and enthusiasm for walks. He does great with dogs, passed a casual cat test, and gets along with children. He settles in his crate, appears housebroken, and hasn’t had more than one accident since arriving. Walks are his favorite, especially when he can sniff everything in sight, and he’s more of a tug toy enthusiast than a fetcher.
