Spritz entered San Jacinto Shelter as a stray-emaciated, neglected, and in need of help. Despite everything she had been through, she was very friendly and affectionate towards the shelter staff and volunteers. We welcomed Spritz as a Frosted Face on March 24th. She is estimated to be 10 years old and weighs 69 lbs. Spritz already knows commands like sit, stay, and shake (with both paws!). She loves attention, and we are happy to shower her with it! Spritz is a gentle, loving soul who clearly just wants to be close to people again. Spritz went on a Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about her while she received lots of TLC in the comfort of a home. Her foster mom reported: "When Spritz's big, soulful brown eyes stare deeply and intently into yours, you will fall instantly in love. Her quiet, gentle nature is so sweet. She is 100% guaranteed to steal your heart! Here are some notes regarding this lovable girl's stay: - Spritz LOVES her head, ears, and butt scratched. - She loves following her person around. I stayed home for first 3 days with her, and on day 4, I went to the gym with Ring setup inside so I could check on her. She slept the 2.5 hrs. I was gone with no displays of stress. - Spritz walks well on a leash but could use some basic heal training which we were working on, doesn't pull, will stop and stare at other dogs/people but never reacted nor advanced, doesn't necessarily require long walks and just plods along at her own pace. - She rides best in the backseat. - She is a digger, so a secure yard would be best. At my house, she only dug up a cool dirt spot in the flower bed to lay in. She prefers shade to sun. - Spritz enjoys laying on the couch or a comfy chair. - She would probably do best in a single level residence. - She is really is a quiet, gentle, and mellow girl! Spritz deserves the BEST forever life with a family or her person! ALL she wants, needs, and deserves is the return of her unconditional love."
