About Kane

Kane was born at the rescue after his mother, abandoned and alone, brought her litter into the world in November 2025. Now around six months old, Kane has grown into a confident, easy-going cat who saves his excitement for mealtimes. With trusted people, he’s warm and affectionate—following close at your heels, offering ankle rubs, or jumping into your lap the moment you sit. He likes to be held like a baby, reaches up to be picked up, and will rub his head against your face. When Kane trusts you, he starts rumbling with purrs, occasionally flops over for tummy rubs, or curls up to nap by your side. Kane gets along well with other cats and tolerates busy dogs in his foster home. He entertains himself with toys or games around running water, and you might find him lounging contentedly in the bathroom sink. Litter box manners are solid and he knows to use a scratching post. Kane hasn't met children yet, but would likely do well with kids who are gentle and understand a cat’s needs. He’d thrive with another pet companion in the home—possibly one of his foster kitten pals. If your workday tends to stretch long, Kane would prefer the company of another feline. All cats here are vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, tested, and ready for adoption in Victoria, MN. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
