About Diana
Diana is approximately 3 years old and carries herself with the quiet dignity of someone who has survived hardship… and has now decided she deserves premium living conditions (specifically: central heating). She’s a perfectly manageable 17 pounds, which means she’s small enough for apartment life, portable enough to scoop up dramatically, and the ideal size to take over your lap without causing circulation issues. When Diana arrived at BFDR, she was severely malnourished. Those days are behind her, but she has not forgotten them — and she now approaches mealtime like it’s a five-star dining experience. Diana prefers her meals served in a slow feeder, because inhaling kibble at unsafe speeds is simply not classy. She believes food should be savored. Respected. Possibly applauded. Now let’s talk about her signature hobby: heating vent worship. Diana’s favorite place in the entire world is directly on top of warm air. If heat is rising from your floor, she will locate it with laser precision. She will settle upon it. She will become one with it. And she will not be moved. Heated floors? She will consider that fate. A vent blowing warm air? That is her throne. Also, Diana comes with limited-edition eyes. Half of her right eye is blue and half is brown, and her left eye is brown with a striking splash of blue. It’s as if the universe started painting and said, “Let’s make her unforgettable.” And it absolutely did. What you should know about this tiny queen: Wonderful with humans of all ages Loves having a dog sibling to wrestle and play hard with Doesn’t mind cats (they may exist, she has no strong feelings) Equally happy being your one-and-only and the center of your universe Diana can thrive in an apartment, condo, or house. She currently uses a doggy door like the independent monarch she is, but in a home without one she may need a little help adjusting to a schedule. She’s smart and adaptable — she just appreciates clear household protocol. Diana has been through a lot, but she’s come out the other side steady, affectionate, playful, and beautifully balanced. She doesn’t ask for much… just consistent meals, her slow feeder, a warm vent, and a family who understands that she is clearly royalty.
