Meet T-Bone: Your Future Professional Lap Warmer! At 8 years young, T-Bone is a 10-pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is officially looking for his retirement home. This little guy hasn't had the easiest road lately-he arrived at a high-kill shelter in Southeast Louisiana with neglected skin, a painful ear infection, and nails so long they made it hard to walk. But despite the discomfort he was in, his spirit never wavered. T-Bone is a true Southern gentleman. He is the definition of a "velcro dog" and believes his rightful place in this world is tucked into the crook of your arm or curled up on your lap. Now that he's healing and feeling better, he's ready to spend his golden years doing what he does best: soaking up the sun on a back porch, watching the birds, and snoozing on a soft sofa. The Essentials: Health: Heartworm negative! He will be fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Personality: Super sweet, calm, and incredibly affectionate. Ideal Home: Someone looking for a loyal companion to share a quiet life with. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
