About Cassie

Cassie is a loyal, people-loving girl with a real soft spot for cats. At around 4 years old and weighing 58lbs, she’s crate and house trained, knows several commands, and has a good handle on leash skills. Cassie thrives with women and is happiest in a home with only female humans—she’ll tolerate a single male in the house, but that’s her limit. Young kids don’t suit her style; she prefers a calm, one- or two-person adult household. Cassie acts friendly with visitors outside her home and absolutely loves toys, sunbathing, and hanging out with her family. She’s food motivated and quick to learn, but she insists on being the only dog in the house. She does, however, do great with cats. Cassie needs a secure, high fenced yard so she can play and enjoy the outdoors. She’s looking for someone who gets her house rules and will give her the love and stability she craves.
