Shadow is a 1–2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier weighing about 45 lbs, with a heart as big as his goofy smile! This handsome, athletic boy is full of life and love — the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate charm. Shadow’s story is a tough one, but it shows just how special he is. He was recently adopted in upstate New York and did wonderfully in his home. He loved playing fetch and being part of the family. Unfortunately, during a game of fetch, Shadow landed wrong and broke his leg. His adopter felt they couldn’t properly care for him during recovery, and he was returned to Texas. Now fully on the mend and ready for a fresh start, Shadow is looking for a forever family who will love and cherish him through all of life’s ups and downs — because that’s exactly the kind of love he gives in return. Shadow adores people and gets along well with other dogs (cat testing coming soon!). He’s a social, happy boy who thrives on attention and loves being included in whatever you’re doing.
