He is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a high-energy personality and a huge love for life. Since arriving at the shelter on 4/9/2026, Petey has been waiting for over a month for a home, and we’re eager to find him a place where he can thrive. He’s highly social with people, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a big smile. Petey is food motivated, making him a great candidate for training and enrichment activities. He absolutely loves toys and will happily entertain himself or play fetch for as long as you’ll let him. Petey is dog selective, so a meet and greet with any resident dogs is recommended to ensure a good match. His energy and enthusiasm make him best suited for an active home who can provide plenty of exercise and playtime.
