Boone is a handsome brindle puppy with a resilient spirit and a great outlook on life. His breed mix is unknown, but whatever he is, he’s 100% sweet, determined, and ready to be someone’s best friend. When Boone first entered our program, there were concerns that one of his back legs might require amputation. After evaluation by our veterinarian, it was determined that his leg looks slightly different due to a previous injury that healed with callusing, which originally limited some movement. The good news is that with simple stretching and consistency at home with his foster family, Boone is already regaining mobility and doing great. He is comfortable, active, and not experiencing pain. Boone gets around well, navigates stairs like a champ, and participates in normal puppy activities such as playing, exploring, and spending time with his people. He’s a great example of how adaptable and resilient puppies can be with just a little support and encouragement. Boone is looking for a family that will continue his simple at-home stretching routine and cheer him on as he keeps gaining strength and confidence. In return, he’ll bring companionship, personality, and plenty of puppy joy to his future home. Boone is fully vetted through our program.
