About Debbie
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Debbie, a precious beagle with a gentle spirit who is looking for a loving, patient home. Debbie may be shy at first and takes time to feel safe, but with time and kindness, her sweet nature shines through. Despite a rough start and prior pain from an untreated hernia, Debbie has undergone surgery and is now healing well, growing more comfortable every day. At around 6 or 7 years old and 26 pounds, she has found companionship and support in her foster home, getting along beautifully with the dogs and forming a special bond with her foster mom. Debbie excels in house training and prefers to relax in an open crate rather than being confined. She is fully up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, flea-treated, wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. She's undergoing treatment for Lyme disease, and her foster care in Clarksburg, WV, is giving her the nurturing foundation she needs to continue thriving. Because of her shyness, Debbie would do best in a quiet environment without small children, surrounded by people willing to give her the time and reassurance she deserves. Adopters outside of West Virginia are welcome as long as they're able to visit in person. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
